The Obelisk 65FC is Geekvape’s latest AIO pod mod, designed for direct lung (DL) vaping. It’s an upgrade from the Obelisk 60, featuring ultra-fast charging (up to full in 18 minutes with the right charger) and USB OTG support to double as a power bank. Powered by dual 1100 mAh internal batteries (2200 mAh total), it comes with a 4.5 mL pod and a vibrant color display.

Build quality and design
The Obelisk 65FC is a compact, pocket-friendly AIO device, similar in size to a small single-battery box mod with a tank (101 x 27 x 42 mm). It’s lightweight and comes in six color options, all with silver frames—except the rainbow version, which has a matching rainbow frame. The Lava edition features stylish red, black, and silver resin-style panels.
It has a 0.96-inch color screen, three buttons (fire, up, and down), and minimal branding. Overall, it’s a sleek, well-built device that looks great and feels solid in hand.
Getting started
The Obelisk 65FC is a pretty simple AIO system to use, but a little more complex than other similar devices due to the large number of modes available. Here’s a rundown of basic operations:
Click fire five times to turn it on/off.
Use up and down to adjust wattage.
Hold down and fire or up and fire to adjust the brightness of the screen.
Hold up and down to lock the adjustment buttons (the device can still fire.)
(With the adjustment buttons locked) click fire three times to lock the device from firing.
(With the adjustment buttons not locked) click fire three times to you to cycle through the modes.
The Obelisk 65FC features a 0.96″ color screen that shows wattage, puff count, battery level, and coil resistance. It offers several modes: Power, Smart (auto-limits wattage), TC (SS and TCR), Bypass, and VPC (custom wattage curves). However, TC is mostly redundant since the coils aren’t TC-compatible, and Bypass feels unnecessary for a beginner-friendly device.
The pod attaches via magnets and includes smooth adjustable airflow between the pod and drip tip. Unfortunately, the pod is overly tinted, making it hard to see e-liquid levels in low light. Coils use a plug-and-play design—easy to install but tough to remove without a tool. Refilling is simple via a top rubber plug without removing the pod.
While it offers more features than needed for a beginner setup, it’s still a solid choice for users comfortable with more advanced options.
Performance
The Obelisk 65FC uses the B series coils, which have been in Geekvape devices like the Aegis Boost. The kit includes two coils: a 0.4-ohm (25-35W) and a 0.2-ohm (50-58W). I found the 0.4-ohm coil works best around 25W, offering good flavor and decent longevity (about 40 mL of juice). However, it feels like a middle ground—too low for direct-lung (DL) and too high for mouth-to-lung (MTL) with high nicotine.
The 0.2-ohm coil performs better, with great flavor at 54W and lasting about 65-70 mL of juice. Overall, the 0.2-ohm coil provides a better experience, while the 0.4-ohm coil is less ideal for this device’s setup. Both are included, so you can try them out and see what works best for you.
Battery life and charging
The Obelisk 65FC has a Type-C port on the left side and features a 2200 mAh internal battery (dual 1100 mAh). It supports a 2A charge rate with a 5V charger, and Geekvape claims an 18-minute charge with a fast charger, though one isn’t included in the kit. Based on past experience with the Obelisk 120, I believe the fast charge claim is plausible.
With a standard 5V charger, I got a max charge rate of 2.12A, and it took 49 minutes to charge fully. The usable battery capacity was 1721 mAh, about 22% lower than the listed 2200 mAh, which is a bit high. Despite this, the device is still on par with similar models like the Freemax Marvos and VAPORESSO LUXE 80 in terms of performance.
The OTG mode lets you use the device as a power bank, with a max output of 1.3A, which works fine for charging phones or tablets. However, since it only has a Type-C port, you’ll need additional adapters or cables for devices with USB-A or older connectors. The included C-to-C cable is fine for Type-C devices.
Pros and Cons
Pros
Cons
Solid build quality while being lightweight
Nice hand feel
Decently sized for portability
Seven color options
Nice large bright color screen
Pod tank is held in firmly
Easy to fill pod
Good capacity (4.5 mL)
Adjustable airflow
Tank is tinted too dark
The 0.4-ohm coil isn’t really suited well for this kit
Use of fast charging requires appropriate charger (not included)
Uses a coil line that’s been around for two years
Coils require the use of a tool to remove
CONCLUSION
Overall, the Obelisk 65FC is a solid device, but it feels a bit more complex than other AIOs aimed at beginners. It’s better suited for intermediate vapers who enjoy DL vaping around 50W and can use the OTG feature. It charges quickly with a standard charger, and likely even faster with a higher-voltage charger (though I couldn’t test that without the included charger).
If you’re an intermediate vaper, this device is a good fit and won’t disappoint. However, if you’re a new vaper or moving from MTL to DL, there are simpler options with more beginner-friendly features and newer coils available.
