Build quality and design
The VOOPOO DRAG Series 2 devices boast excellent build quality with metal frames and vegan leather panels. Getting started
The VOOPOO DRAG X2 and S2 are user-friendly with simple menus and modes. To set up, prime the coil with e-juice, install it into the pod, fill with e-liquid, and let it saturate for 5 minutes. The X2 uses an 18650 battery, with a magnet-secured leather battery door.
Five clicks power the device on, and the chipset auto-sets wattage based on the coil. The menu offers three modes: Smart (wattage within coil range), RBA (custom wattage), and Eco (power-saving). Easy to operate, these devices are ideal for beginner DL vapers.

Battery life and charging
The 18650-powered X2’s battery life depends on the battery used, with an external charger recommended. The S2, with its 2500mAh internal battery, lasted through about 6mL of juice (180 puffs at 50-55W). It fully charges in around 65 minutes, though the 2A rating may slightly overstate capacity. Battery performance remains consistent even at low charge, but like other recent VOOPOO devices, the S2 and X2 do not support passthrough vaping, likely due to battery safety concerns.
