Getting started
The LUXE XR MAX is a DL-focused pod system but supports MTL vaping with separate coils (not included). It features simple controls—five clicks to power on/off, four for the menu, and three for wattage adjustment. Smart mode limits wattage to the coil’s recommended range.
It has an airflow slider for MTL to DL adjustment. The magnetic pod is easy to remove and refill via a bottom rubber plug. While the pod is visible, the dark tint makes checking e-liquid levels difficult. Despite this, the overall experience is excellent.
Performance
Coil performance is key to a device’s success.
Comes with two DL mesh coils:
0.4Ω (26-32W) – Decent for low-power DL vaping.
0.2Ω (45-60W) – Best at 55W, offering solid flavor & coil life.
Lower-wattage DL coils (like 0.4Ω) feel underpowered for true DL vaping.
MTL coils (0.8Ω & 1.2Ω) provide the best experience but aren’t included.
MTL pod & coils are compatible for those who prefer a tighter draw.
