The Lost Vape Ursa Mini is a compact, pocket-friendly AIO kit with a pen-style mod design similar to the Freemax Marvos 60W and Vaporesso LUXE 80. It features a lightweight yet durable zinc alloy and stainless-steel body, measuring 107.2mm x 26mm x 30.7mm.
I received the Phantom Green version, which has a unique two-tone fade design, while non-Phantom versions feature a contrasting frame and body. The paint quality is excellent, with no chipping issues.
It has a 0.69-inch black-and-white screen, reminiscent of older DNA mods, though a color screen would enhance its premium feel. Branding is minimal, with small Lost Vape and Ursa Mini logos, making it a sleek and stylish device overall.
Getting started
The Ursa Mini is a pretty simple AIO system to use. There are three buttons on this device; fire, up, and down. Basic operations are as follows:
Click fire five times to turn it on or off.
Use up and down to adjust wattage.
Hold up and fire to lock the adjustment buttons (mod will still fire).
Hold down and fire to reset the puff counter.
The Ursa Mini screen displays wattage, puff counter, battery level, resistance, and puff timer, with no extra modes or menus.
It includes a magnetically attached proprietary pod tank (unnamed, but I’ll call it the Ursa Mini pod tank). Airflow is adjusted via a side dial with four hole sizes, allowing for restricted DL to tight MTL vaping.
The pod is darkly tinted, making it hard to see e-liquid levels in low light. A clear or lighter tint would have been more practical, prioritizing functionality over style.
Performance
Coils are key to any pod device, and the Ursa Mini uses UB Lite mesh coils. It includes:
1.0Ω mesh (10-15W) – Great MTL performance, best at 11W, offering excellent flavor and lasting 30mL of juice.
0.4Ω mesh (20-30W) – Performed best at 20W, but flavor was underwhelming. Too high for nic salts, too low for regular juice, lasting only 20mL.
Additional coils available: 0.8Ω (12-17W) and 1.4Ω (8-10W).
Overall, MTL coil performs well, but the DTL coil is lacking, making this kit ideal for MTL vaping.
Battery life and charging
The Ursa Mini has a 1200mAh internal battery, though Lost Vape doesn’t list the charge rate. My tests showed a 0.91A max charge rate, likely intended as 1A, and it supports passthrough vaping.
The Type-C port is at the bottom, which isn’t ideal since the device can’t stand while charging. A full charge took 1 hour 37 minutes, which is decent. The actual battery capacity measured 1190mAh, making it one of the few accurately rated batteries on the market
