The VOOPOO VRIZZ takes this concept to the next level with a 15 mL pod and an 80K puff coil life, surpassing options like the OXBAR Oxpod Elite and VAPORESSO ECO NANO.
The VRIZZ fully embraces the disposable aesthetic, making it a standout and potentially game-changing device for beginners. While I’m excited about its design and concept, the vape performance didn’t fully meet my expectations. Keep reading to learn more.

Build quality and design
The VOOPOO VRIZZ stands out from most disposables with its superior build quality. Its aluminum alloy body is more durable and visually appealing than plastic, resembling an ARGUS G2 Mini merged with a disposable. While not built for longevity, it’s far sturdier than typical disposables.
The pod design is excellent, with strong magnets, no wobble, a comfortable mouthpiece, and a large fill hole. The screen, though basic, is intuitive, bright, and displays essential info like battery percentage, power output, and puff time—perfectly aligned with the disposable aesthetic. A puff counter would’ve been a nice touch but isn’t a dealbreaker.
Aside from a flimsy lanyard connector, the VRIZZ is a well-built, impressive device with little to criticize.
Getting started
Using the VOOPOO VRIZZ is as simple as a disposable, with the added step of filling the pod. Just open the rubber plug, fill it with e-liquid, and let the coil saturate for a few minutes if it’s a new pod.
Insert the pod, select your power level with the button (start low for a fresh pod), and adjust the airflow using the slider at the bottom. The VRIZZ is draw-activated—just inhale to start vaping.
Performance
The flavor from the included 0.7-ohm pod is impressive, delivering all the expected notes with a fruity 50/50 nic salt. However, the device has some quirks.
At 24 watts (the max setting), the vape isn’t very warm and feels underpowered for the coil, which seems unusually power-hungry compared to typical 0.7-ohm MTL setups. Gurgling is another issue, likely due to the pod’s large capacity, tight airflow, 50/50 e-liquid ratio, and insufficient power. Standing the pod upside down for a few minutes helps clear excess liquid
The airflow also whistles on some settings, though the tightest and loosest options are smooth. On the plus side, the whistle might entertain your dog!
Battery life and charging
The 800 mAh battery, while modest compared to the VRIZZ’s impressive 15 mL e-liquid capacity, is consistent with the disposable-style concept. However, a future upgrade to a 1200 mAh battery paired with a 10 mL tank could strike a better balance.
The battery delivers 230-240 puffs per charge (2-2.5 second puffs) and fully recharges in just under an hour, which is reasonably efficient.
As for the 80K puff coil life claim, it remains to be seen. So far, I’ve reached 1,700 puffs without a drop in flavor, but further testing is needed.

CONCLUSION
In summary, while I love the concept and design of the VOOPOO VRIZZ, the actual vaping experience falls short. The vape is too cool for my liking, gurgling is a persistent issue, and the whistling airflow may bother some users.
That said, the device is nearly perfect aside from these flaws. A more powerful, less gurgly pod could significantly improve performance. I haven’t tested the 0.4-ohm pods (sold separately), which might change my opinion.
Would I recommend it? If you prefer a cooler vape and VOOPOO resolves the gurgling and airflow issues—or includes a better pod—then absolutely. But as it stands, those seeking disposable-level performance might be disappointed.
