Product intro and specs
The DRAG H80S and E60 are VOOPOO’s latest AIOs, expanding the versatile DRAG line. The H80S, resembling an upgraded DRAG X, uses a single 18650 battery and has a slimmer design. The E60, a compact boxy AIO, features an internal 2550 mAh battery.
Both devices have large color screens, are powered by the GENE.TT 2.0 chipset, and support the new 4.5 mL PNP Pod II tank. Despite their differences in shape and battery type, they share similar features and functions, making them versatile options for vapers.
Build quality and design
Both the DRAG H80S and E60 feature excellent build quality. I received the H80S in Grey Carbon Fiber with a stylish battery cover and the E60 in Coffee with a sleek leather frame. Both devices have identical color screens, but the H80S uses separate +/- buttons, while the E60 has a single toggle button.
The H80S is a tall, slim AIO designed for an 18650 battery, making it slightly taller but more compact than the DRAG X. The E60, in contrast, is a compact, box-style device that fits comfortably in larger hands.
Both use the transparent 4.5 mL PNP Pod II with Adapt tech for coil recognition and easy wattage adjustment. Airflow can be customized by rotating the pod, and the built-in wide-bore mouthpiece is ideal for DL and RDL vaping, though it’s not replaceable.
Performance
Each kit includes two mesh coils with VOOPOO’s “Dual in One” tech for improved efficiency. Both devices come with a 0.3-ohm coil (28-36W), while the H80S also includes a 0.15-ohm coil (55-70W), and the E60 features a 0.2-ohm coil (40-55W).
The 0.15-ohm coil delivers exceptional flavor at 60-65W, comparable to top sub-ohm tanks, though it drains battery quickly on an 18650. While all coils are compatible with the H80S, the 0.15-ohm coil is not recommended for the E60. For high-wattage use, pair the 0.15-ohm coil with a 25-amp battery.
Battery life and charging
Relevance
This section applies only to the E60, as the H80S uses an 18650 battery, and its battery life depends on the battery chosen.
Battery Capacity
The E60 features a 2550 mAh internal battery.
Performance
With the 0.3-ohm coil, it lasts for about 1.5 pods (7 mL) per charge. Similar results are expected with the 0.2-ohm coil.
Eco Mode
Using Eco mode can extend battery life but results in a cooler vape experience.
Charging Time
Despite claims of “superspeed charging,” a full charge takes around 2 hours, which is reasonable for its battery size
Pros and Cons
Pros
Cons
Excellent build quality
E60 is compact and lightweight
H80s is smaller than the DRAG X
Large color screen
Redesigned top fill pod tank
Fully adjustable airflow
Surprisingly easy to use
Mouthpiece is non-replaceable
One 0.15-ohm coil probably short-circuited
Eco mode prompt at 40% charge is a bit annoying
CONCLUSION
The DRAG H80S and E60 are both excellent pod mods, each with its own strengths. If you’re looking for top performance, the H80S is the better choice. It’s a successor to the DRAG X, one of 2020’s most popular pod mods, and the 0.15-ohm coil offers outstanding flavor that surpasses the other coils.
However, there’s something about the compact, boxy design of the E60 that makes it incredibly comfortable to hold. Personally, I’ve gotten over 1500 hits on it, compared to 864 on the H80S.
