The VAPORESSO LUXE 80 is a compact AIO kit designed for low to mid-wattage DL vaping. It features a 2500 mAh built-in battery, a vibrant color screen, and adjustable settings powered by the latest AXON chipset. The kit includes a 5 mL pod tank compatible with GTX coils, known for solid performance across VAPORESSO devices.
The LUXE 80 is a compact and stylish AIO device, similar in size to the SWAG PX80 but with a built-in battery. It feels solid without being too heavy and measures 111.1 x 39.4 x 28 mm. I got the “Gorilla” edition, which features a crocodile-textured leather panel—unlike the smooth leather on other color options. Build quality is great, with no paint issues and a premium feel.
The device has a bright 0.96-inch color screen, three control buttons (fire, up, down), and minimal branding for a clean look. Overall, it’s a sleek, durable, and well-designed AIO kit.
Getting started
The LUXE 80 is a pretty typical AIO system, that’s simple to use. Here’s a rundown of basic operations.
Click fire five times to turn it on or off.
Click fire three times to lock the adjustment buttons.
Use up or down to adjust wattage.
Holding up and down will enter the menu.
The LUXE 80 offers a simple menu with modes like wattage, voltage, and smart wattage—ideal for coil-based AIO use. It features a puff counter with a 7-day history, screen color options (green, blue, pink), and a handy display showing wattage, resistance, battery level, puff count, and recommended wattage for the coil.
It uses the GTX POD 26, the same as the GTX Go 80, with a magnetic connection and adjustable airflow by rotating the pod. It’s optimized for DL vaping, though MTL is possible with lower-wattage coils, albeit not ideal.
Replacing the GTX coils is simple—just pull the coil from the bottom of the pod and push in a new one. However, the pod needs to be nearly empty, and the coil can be tricky to remove without tools or long nails. A flathead screwdriver helps, but a better removal system like the one on the SWAG PX80 would’ve been a nice touch.
Refilling is easy via the screw-off top cap with a silicone flap, though the cap can be a bit slippery. Overall, the system is user-friendly but could benefit from small usability upgrades.
Performance
Coils are key to any pod system, and the LUXE 80 uses VAPORESSO’s reliable GTX coils, which I’ve tested in several devices. It includes two coil options, both known for solid performance.
A 0.2-ohm mesh coil rated for 45-60 watts
A 0.3-ohm mesh coil rated 32-45 watts
Additional GTX coils are available separately, including 0.8Ω (12–20W), 0.6Ω (20–30W), and an RBA deck. I’ve used most of them before with other VAPORESSO devices, so I was already familiar with their performance.
The kit includes the 0.3Ω and 0.2Ω coils—both solid, but the 0.2Ω coil stands out for better flavor and longevity around 40–45W. For DL vaping, the 0.2Ω is the top choice, while higher-resistance coils suit MTL. Overall, the coils are consistent, reliable, and widely available.
Battery life and charging
The LUXE 80 supports 2A charging and includes a 2500 mAh internal battery. I measured a max charge rate of 1.86A, which is accurate for the 2A claim. Charging takes about 1 hour and 11 minutes, and passthrough vaping is supported.
However, the actual usable battery capacity was around 1890 mAh—roughly 24–25% lower than advertised. While some overstatement is common, this was a bit much. A more realistic rating of 2000 mAh would’ve been fairer.
Pros and Cons
Pros
Cons
Solid build quality
Lightweight and durable
Very small and pocketable
Nice leather panels
Large and bright color screen
Pods are held in firmly
Two coil options included
Three other coil options usable in this kit
Good flavor and coil life from 0.2-ohm coil
Coils can be hard to pull out

Overstated battery capacity
CONCLUSION
Overall, the LUXE 80 is a solid device that blends features from the PX80 and GTX GO kits. It’s a great pick for DL vapers who prefer an internal battery. While the GTX pod could be improved—especially for coil changes—the downsides are minor. It’s a well-built, user-friendly AIO kit.
